Satluj Soorme
“Gallant Warriors Fueled by the Fiercest Current”
Lifeline of the Five Rivers & Martial Legend
Known in antiquity as the holy Shatadru of Vedic scriptures, the Satluj rushes from the glacial mirrors of Lake Rakshastal, cleaving the deepest canyons of Kinnaur before bestowing life and prosperity across the fertile plains of Punjab. For centuries, the roaring Satluj has witnessed the birth of peerless saints, valiant warriors, and revolutionary martyrs who defended Bharat's borders against every invading adversary.
True to their name 'Soorme'—the Punjabi tribute to undaunted gallantry—this team channels the thunderous energy of the Bhakra gorge into lightning-fast batting and razor-sharp fielding. They stand united like an impregnable fortress, playing cricket with passion, pride, and the unmatched fighting spirit of the Land of the Five Rivers.
